Christa Ojeda has been consulting since 1997.  Her strength is in bridging the gap between what is being done and what needs to be done; in finding the best solutions.  She has successfully project managed difficult situations with outstanding results.  Her communication and people skills are excellent as is her ability to do what it takes to bring the project to completion.  Christa's favorite assignments involve fixing what is broken within a system or process.

Her clients have come from manufacturing, food service, communications, insurance, not-for-profit and outsourcing industries.  Some of her accomplishments include:

• Turning-around an unsuccessful payroll outsourcing project, therefore retaining the 70+ store customer base which represented over $250,000 in yearly revenue.

• Creating a profitability analysis at a global foodservice retailer which resulted in potential opportunity of 3% increase in sales and 4% increase in gross margin at existing volume levels. 

• Planning, managing and executing $680 million reconciliation of a customer billing system at a large insurance company by creating multiple-system process flows, identifying weaknesses,  developing process improvements and supervising staff in clearing accounts receivable outstanding balances.

• Developing and implementing internal control process improvements at a Mexican equity manufacturing company which resulted in meeting reporting goals and objectives and receiving a clean audit for the first time in 3 years.

She has extensive experience with Windows Operating Systems and a wide variety of Microsoft and other business software including but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  Also knowledgeable in Visio, Access, FrontPage, various general ledger accounting software and Internet based research.

Christa graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.  She later went on to pass her CPA exam.  She is a member of the Golden Key National Honors Society as well as Beta Gamma Sigma, business honors fraternity.  She is fluent in Spanish.
